That rulers, civil leaders, and journalists speak and write the truth in all things, we pray to the Lord...

That those who are homeless, hungry, and unemployed find shelter, food, and jobs, we pray to the Lord ...

That those who serve in the military be surrounded with the grace and protection of the Lord, we pray to the Lord...

That all who have died, especially John Forsyth and Eileen Seymour (and _____________________) be purified of sin and share eternal joy, we pray to the Lord...

That the sick may find comfort in the lesson of the Beatitudes, and that in their suffering and loneliness they may find the Lord's consolation, we pray to the Lord ...

That those who are ill may, as sons and daughters of God, offer their sufferings to Him with patience and trust, we pray to the Lord...
